- What does NX Canada actually do?
- All four at once: NX Canada manufactures the Nanoxeal nano protection, distributes it to applicators, shops and resellers, sells it retail to homeowners, and applies it with its own crews. NX Canada is the federal company; Distribution NX is the Quebec division.
- Is Nanoxeal a nano-ceramic coating?
- No. It is a penetrating silane and siloxane water repellent with a fluoropolymer and active nano-silica. It enters the pores and lines them instead of building a film on top. A nano-ceramic is film-forming, so it is a different category with different physics.
- Does NX Canada install everywhere in Canada?
- No, and it is a distinction we keep clear. Our own crews apply in Quebec and British Columbia. In the other eight provinces the product ships but NX Canada does not install: application is arranged with an independent applicator.
- What is the warranty?
- Fifteen years if the roof is under 10 years old at the time of application, 10 years if it is older. It covers product performance, meaning water repellency and UV resistance, and it is transferable on resale. It does not cover labour.
- Do I get a warranty if I apply the product myself?
- No. None. Not a reduced warranty. The warranty exists only when our own crews apply it. Applying it yourself is a legitimate choice, but make it knowingly.
- Does it repair a leaking roof?
- No. Nanoxeal is a protective coating, not a repair. It does not seal a leak and does not correct structural damage: split or missing shingles, failed flashing, sagging decking, inadequate ventilation. Those must be corrected by a roofer before application.
- Where do you buy the product?
- At nanoxeal.ca, the storefront. One 19 L pail covers 1,000 to 1,200 sq ft in two coats, and we confirm quantity and total before you pay. To have our crews apply it, start here with an estimate.
